4.5 rounded up.Through work and general surliness I've been in a real reading funk lately. When I started this book, it was to save me from two others that also had absolutely nothing wrong with them except I wasn't getting into them.I didn't get into this too quickly either, hence the half star knock off, but the story picked up in the last third like it was running on jet fuel. Suddenly, the emotions became breathtakingly real and the dialogue, the reactions, the emotions were so wonderfully portrayed they were perfect!I want to find more books by the author now.

i was greatly disappointed! the book fell flat on its face! the relationship between jase and lexa seemed at best awkward. she was too immature, too insecure. it was like a bad novel for teenagers. maybe they wud like it but i dunt. resume of the book: lexa had a huge crush on jase while he wanted to have sex wid her. the author sugar coated it wid love and lots of cigarettes!i think in 25years time, they both wud be dying of lung cancer!lol:P damn boring!

This was ok. But I read it like two days ago and I've already forgotten it. I think the characters' feelings were just a little too obvious for me.

It. Was. Horrible. Lexa's been having this strange feeling towards her stepbrother, Jase. But it seems like he didn't care about her like that. He still thinks that she's just a little girl. She's not and she wants to prove it. No matter what. I was intrigued by this book, because the synopsis's quite promising to me. The idea of falling love with step siblings are always cute to me, despite what people said. It's not incest, because there are no blood relations. So all I know it's safe and NOT taboo at all. But this book, was completely disappointing. The author's style of writing is confusing and I found so many unstable moments. At some point the Hero is sweet and tender but the in a blink of an eye he turns to some jerk who grabs and hurts the heroine. The sudden change is so annoying and I often goes “whaaaaaaa?” afterwards. And the heroine, omigod. I hated her. She's weak and stupid and meek and everything you'll hate in a book. She asked for not to be treated as a kid but her attitude's childish and again, stupid. Bleh. And to be honest, I didn't even finished the book. All I can say is, this book is not enjoyable.

One of the step siblings in love novels and it was pretty good. I have to say I was a bit impressed by some of the content and I did enjoy reading it. However I feel the hero went about things the total wrong way and he is what caused all the confusion and drama.
