The loss I've suffered will never happen again if I can help it. Right now, my sons are enjoying their night off from their duties. I think after what happened, a little fun and lots of sex is just what we need. Although I'm indulging myself in good times, my eyes are always on the future and what it holds. Noel: The fact that I almost died isn't lost on me at all. I plan to make the most of my life for as long as I live, and considering that I'm immortal, my future is looking pretty bright. As for my son, Romeo, I'm going to be putting him through a few of my tests. He needs to prove himself not only worthy of the House of Théoden. He needs to prove himself worthy of me. I won't be letting him off easy. Deacon: It seems that everything that I had been plotting for has completely blown up in my face. Elijah isn't happy with me, but he's my mate, we'll get through this. We have to. I know one thing, in spite of my original plans backfiring... I still see hope. Josef: The sacrifices I've had to make and still need to make are weighing on me. It's not easy to lose damn near everything that meant something to me in hopes that what I gain will be worth it all. I have to believe that claiming my mate is worth the risk of losing my sons forever. Only time will tell. Warning: This serial contains strong adult content not meant for sensitive eyes. The novelettes in this serial will be filled with dark, twisted, raunchy and steamy scenes between powerful, sexy men that will either offend you or get ya revved up. This series will not be pulling any punches, and it won’t apologize for hurting your feelings, either. You’ll find no fluff and ruffles here. The vampires are not misunderstood, hopeless romantics looking for love. The werewolves are not cute and cuddly, and the dragons aren’t the ones from your childhood. This is NOT a romance....

BR with JulieAfter 19 books of the New Haven series, this series came to an end.I was expecting it to end in a BIG BANG but regretfully not.Sooooooo I'm just asuming we won't have to say goodbye to Théoden, Noel, Marco, Bruce, Romeo. etc etcYes, of course no end to the Vampires. We're only going to get MORE of the wolves and dragons.Right, right Nicholas? It didn't really feel like a closure. More like a push to the new series which I'm very excited about.Cause.... Josef and Dante's mating surely has to occur soooooonI'm ready!!! :D

Sacrifices is the last part of Master Nicholas' New Haven series and boy.... did he deliver with this one. It's fast paced, dark, twisted, sexy, steamy hot... and kept me turning the pages. Can't wait to get back to Theoden and his boys... and all the other supes in the upcoming Odin Chronicles. Btw... who the hell is Kendrick Sahr? A new threat to Theoden and his boys?

This book has been one hell of a ride in this serial. Gosh, I fell into Nicholas Bella's world by luck. A simple video on goodreads, and found myself intrigued. And, wow what a crazy fantastical world it is. And, I found happiness. In this you will findWolvesDragonsVampiresKings & Princes. SlaveryBondageComplex well defined characters.Great pacing. And, Sacrifices. This is one hell of a ride. This writer that dare to go where not many have gone. Some can stomach it and some can not. It to me is a totally mind fu**And the ending...didn't feel like a final....but, OMG, what is coming for my guys. I really love the series, but I had some niggle'sThey were-The description of filling the guts with semen not an image I like The pissing games not one I EVER got into. And this book which did not feel like a finale, it felt like a unfinished-saga... I really needed my guys to close this up and mate. I'm so disappointed.

The level of detailing in the plotting is nothing short of incredible, I don't know how Nicholas Bella keeps up with all the different narratives he has spinning in the air when it come to this series. While Deacon and his wolves are plotting to undermine and seize control, Theoden is playing a long game with the unwilling help of Josef and his werewolves and the dragons have a whole different reason for getting involved. The sex, as ever, is creative, erotic, explosive, dangerous, exciting, punishing, painful and controlled.

...and with this we say good bye to New Haven Series. This series was my very first experience of MM dark erotica. I wasn't looking for it it just happened to be recommended to me by Goodreads. I liked the cover, it was hot, and because the first book was free i gave it a try. Oh my, i was hooked up by the time Noel was embraced.I finished the first 16 books like in 3 days max. I became to love Noel and his brothers, i'm enamored with Deacon and Elijah #DEALIJAH 4ev3r! , but can't stand Theodon even if he has a lot a fans among our secret group on Facebook, created by our kinky author Nicholas Bella .I'm not sad though that the series is ended because an other is starting ... Odin Chronicles ... so i invite all of you to stay tuned and follow the kinky stories of Vampires, Wolfs and Dragons ...

Damn, that was a great read! I am a big fan of the New Haven Series right from the start and this final's amazing in all ways possible. It's sexy, dark, hot and is a mastermind of cruel, epic political games within and between the territories of New Haven. To read about Theodens plans with Josef's pack, Deacon's ideas of getting his evil plans fullfilled and Josef longing for his mate and his own plans regarding his family and pack to come true, it gave me a cold chill running down my spine. And it left me in tears, too; just thinking about the funeral ceremony...And this evil little cliffhanger at the end!! I so can't wait to read "The Odin Chronicles" now!!

Well, the Nicholas Bella journey began for me on August 17, 2015, and I have not regretted it one minute. 19 books later and this series has honestly left me so emotional. What a journey it has been. Overall this episode alone is quite good and in keeping with the series, however a "series finale" it really wasn't and for me I think is the reason it left me quite sad. For 19 books we have had the joy of getting Noel and Theoden's POV and while their story has come somewhat to close (I get the need to step away from them as far as story telling goes), but I needed more of a send off and more of a goodbye from them. I needed more of Marco quite frankly. Yes, we get a couple of exchanges with him, but his character and interactions with Noel were absolutely some of my favorites of this series. I needed him. We did get other closure with Noel and Romeo finally had some great moments on page as well. Now, as for a finale, this really is not the end of these characters or this world. The view is just changing. We have a new threat entering the picture which will impact more the dragons and werewolves and so Theoden and his family will no longer be the central focus, but undoubtedly will be huge allies to others moving forward. My hope is for us to get Ty and Dante as new POV's. I have to believe Deacon and Josef will also remain front and center along with this new threat. This threat I think is in for a rude awakening entering Odin...I am quite excited to see what happens.Until then, I will wipe my tears and try to wait patiently. Thank you Els for continuing on this journey with me. This series is highly recommended...but be sure to keep a dirty open mind and just fall into the world of Bella.

This is the final book for the New Haven series, but its not the end of their tale but just a beginning. A while ago, I was deeply moved by the writing. Nicholas Bella not only writes a compelling story, but his books speaks deeply to one's soul. It might not be pretty. His books were never pretty. They were dark and sensual and depraved, but these quality are good for what it was. Erotica with a huge deep plots like these are rare. But if its for you, you'll be addicted to it. Not one of the characters are one dimensional but the book makes you work for it to see each of them in a different light. The world of Theoden is expanding and Noel's tale has just only began.Sacrifices is the last of the New Haven series but fear not it is merely making way for the rest of its universe. The Odin Chronicles would certainly be well received I'm sure. This book is an emotional one for me. We get to see a more emotional side of a few characters. well, as emotional as they could be (remember, his books were never sappy). You get to see characters change and grow into different persons. It is as though each book of the series you read in the past is a small investment and now it's Harvest time :) I would foresee myself staying as a loyal fan for the rest of my life.I see myself loving characters I would never expect myself to love, hate characters that I usually don't care of and of course falling deeper in love with characters I've already adored. We get to see a small history of Theoden's past, it was a beautiful history that would certainly hold a place in my heart for the rest of my life. The series has yet to meet the limits of its destiny and in my heart I hope it never would. But for now, its the curtain call and I am standing with ovation. I will await patiently for the next show :)

More cons than prosLike all stories I read, short, long or in between no matter the genre, I give four or five star reviews. If I gave a four, I wasn't happy. Okay, I was referred to this series because I was looking for a balance between romance and paranormal, so I sort of knew what I was getting into. SORT OF!First book was fabulous: there was a hero already in a really, really bad situation and I was rooting for him to survive the horror of being forced to become a blood sucker hybrid. At this point, I'm settling in for a great read. I'm thinking he is going to use his newfound power against his master(s)... at some point. Nope. The storyline steadily progressed to a confused victim concerning his sexuality, his systematic brainwashing with rape and torture, and then just raunchy sex, which I don't mind in the least because it's a story... but it stayed there. Pages and pages and pages of it. Book after book. Every now and a very far off then, the plot moved away from paranormal, brutal rapists to suspenseful with hints of crooked villains of every species and impending doom, and then we went right back to pages and pages and pages of the confused victim turned sadist like his mentors and brutal sex. I know this is erotica, dark, but each book reads the same. Nothing changes, except the sexual partners, many, many of them. So many one-dimensional characters crop up alongside the two-dimensional ones, terrified, cruel, or straight freaky, that's the limit, and as the books get longer with way, way more sex, I started forgetting characters, wondering wth did he come from, and does he have a purpose besides being raped too... repeatedly. Then I was like 'Oh yeah, he was mentioned in the other book.'Trust me when I tell you this author's imagination is so far out of the box, it's sitting on the horizon only seen from some tiny island NOBODY has heard of, which is good, it shows his individuality, but it runs in circles. Hot men sleeping with each other wherever, mainly against their will, and long drawn out conversations between villains that last three to about seven pages. There is no point in skipping to the end like I tried to do to find out if Noel ever made it back to his rebellious nature that had me rooting for him in the first place. When I did that, something got lost in translation about the main character getting hurt, but Noel does sink further into the 'rapist and I'm better than you puny human or vampire' mentality, and no this story doesn't end. It jumps to a spin-off series instead. This is where I jump to imagining a HEA for every freaking body, even the dead slaves and fleshbags. So... if you like past dark characters with an extra bite, cruelest than most, and attitude, I love Noel's and Dante's spunk in the beginning btw, this is the read for you. Let know if Noel ever gets free, along with the humans he wanted to save.

Fantastic! This series had me hooked from the start. Would have been an easier read if the novelettes were all as one book as sometimes looking for the next one in the series was tiresome and time consuming.Bloodthirsty, sexy full of tall dark handsome vampires, wolves ,dragons just what you want from a good read.

SadRyu why Ryu? Beautiful in its depravity. Blood and spunk filled goodness. Just missing Ryu he added so much humor to his scenes with his brothers in a way he made them more likable in the beginning of the series. Moral the story start at the beginning read them all repeatedly.

I was given this book by the author in exchange for a honest review. The deceit flies like the cum in this amazingly sexy dark and down right dirty series.Deacon, who by the way I've never trusted, has new plans to bring down Theoden and Josef but at what price? Noel is finally totally Theoden's son and 100% vampire, all traces of humanity gone. He has decided to be the best vampire and General he can be and show Theoden he appreciates the "gift" he gave him. Josef by losing the battle with Theoden for Dante has lost more than he bargained for, a lot more. He will get Dante but it's on Theoden's terms and what are the terms? Sex abounds and the cum flies while the supers take their pleasures from whoever they chose in this gritty power struggle. I panicked when Nicholas announced this was the end of this series till I got to the end now my panic is over and I'm ready to take on new characters in Odin.Thank you Nicholas for taking me along on this wild ride through New Haven,Independent reviewer for Romance Authors That Rock.

Sacrifices, the finale to The New Haven Series, doesn’t necessarily answer a lot of unanswered questions as much as it opens up a whole host of new questions. What it does show, however, is a lot of growth and maturity the vampires have developed over the course of the series.Noel - has really found himself and has truly embraced his life as a vampire. He has come the furthest, imo, with the changes he has made, both mentally and emotionally, and could not be prouder to be the son of Théoden. His goal is to show everything he has learned from Marco and his Master to Romeo and have him be completely on board with his actions.Josef- is still coming to terms with losing the battle to Théoden, but he is holding up his end of the bargain by turning over his sons as promised. You have to give credit where credit is due, and I think Josef deserves it for the way he is handling the situation. He may back-stab later on but right now he is behaving with honor and pride and the way an alpha should behave. It’s hard to not to feel a tad sorry for him though because Théoden sure likes to rub it in his face.Théoden - God, I love that man! He is so evil and manipulative but he does care for his sons and that’s evident with Ryu as he thinks back over their first time meeting, how he took his breath away with his beauty, and now as he plans his funeral. I admit, I had a few tears as the ceremony takes place and I imagine the pride and respect in Soldier Field for this vampire was breathtaking.Deacon – not to be left out has a plan up his sleeve to get his little piece of the pie, but I’m not sure where he will fit into any of this. He is the culprit, after all, that started this whole mess, but now that Théoden and Josef have joined forces I’m not sure how Deacon fits in. However, Eli has come up with a good and devious plan so time will tell how/if it will work out and the big question is. . . will it work out? I foresee bad things coming their way and I don’t need a crystal ball for that.Nicholas Bella brings New Haven to a close with more questions than answers but I really didn’t expect anything less. Even though New Haven changes course, it’s not the end of the world because a new world is opening up and it’s called Odin. I can’t wait to see what happens in these new districts as the vampires we love take over as the new leaders and we learn more about each one.Sacrifices were made by several to get all of the players where they are now, but who will sacrifice themselves next and who will be left standing at the head of it all? I wouldn’t even wager a guess at this point but I can’t wait to find out. It appears Nicholas Bella still has a few surprise guests waiting to make an appearance.* I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review from the author *

NOT for the faint of heart. These supernaturals have no empathy and commit acts most would consider tabooThe wait for this installment was killing me!I couldn't wait to learn the fate of Joseph and his children. Will Josef, finally get to claim Dante? Will his children be traded as spoils of war? Will Theoden figure out Elijah's cunning deception? This book held all the answers of what was built up to be an epic conclusion since it's the end of the series. *The rest of this review are spoilers. Do not read it if you haven't read the book yet* (view spoiler)[ *What I considered Perfection*-I felt Theoden's pain deeply as he reminisced on the moment he met his brave, fearless Samurai in 1867. Ryu's past was so interesting and knowing who he once was made me even angrier we lost him.- Romeo's revenge. I cheered when Romeo did not disappoint Noel and killed the "friend" that set him up. -funeral. I. cried. like. a. baby. His send off was worthy of his warrior status and I liked that his brothers Michael and Tyler, were able to watch and mourn with everyone via live broadcast. -self-control. I don't think I need to expand on this. *So why am I let down? Why 4 stars not 5?*Though this a wonderful book, I wouldn't title it as the end of a series.NOTHING was resolved! All the plot lines are still open- ended and apparently will run their course perhaps as story arcs in a new series: The Odin ColonyOn the plus side: I am happy that these characters will feature (heavily) in future works. I wasn't ready to say goodbye to them. :)(hide spoiler)]

The end? Not quiteThis is the end of the New Haven series that has captivated most of us. We started with a human rebellion and the embracing of beautiful Noel, and we end with wolves being subjected to the sexual pleasure of both vampires and the dragons. The manipulation of events by Deacon has caused an unexpected takeover of Josef's territory by Theoden. Deacon remains in the dark over exactly what has happened... His war between dragon, vampires, and wolves didn't manifest as he hoped. There's so much unresolved with territory, alliances, manipulation, spying, and plots everywhere that its difficult to see what's in store for everyone.Nicholas Bella has given us a great story with so many unanswered questions..... Cliffhangers doesn't begin to describe it. His imagination astounds me with every page of this 19 book series.... Each one as good as the previous ones. Now with so many questions he has us on the hook and we anxiously await further stories. Evil genius!

This is such an intense series. Each book adds a layer. The characters become more, the plot becomes thicker, and I lose a lot of hair due to stress. This is absolutely a series you need to read from book one. None of them are standalones so start from the beginning. Main players, well, there’s a lot of MC’s. Kings, Princes, Alphas! All are vital and it’s funny because throughout the whole series they are all trying to destroy each other. My loyalty is always with Theoden and his boys but I can’t help loving them all and hoping they will work it out…. I’m a hopeless HEA girl. Though I will say the end of this book gave promise to perhaps them all having to work together. There was a sad element to this story as there is a funeral they are attending and I cried a bit there. It’s hard to say goodbye to a beloved character. It’s difficult to review these books separately because they are sort of one really long story. Each weaving into the other and they are all vital.sacrifices is a fabulous addition to this amazing series.

Let me say no one does dirty dirty like Nicholas Bella. a wonderful storyteller mind wrapped up in pieces of dark and edgy to the point of rawness. I've followed this series since the beginning and it only gets better. There are so many characters I love I couldn't name just one. Their personalities just jump off the kindle and fill your mind, you need to turn the page, but on edge to find out what's there. Old faces and plots, a powerhouse on his knees. A heart wrenching sorry you can almost feel, the sweetest revenge that isn't always about taking a life. The most important is the growth of characters, you will remember where it started and what go them to this point. Nicholas throws surprises in and he throws WTF moments and and yes.. kinda leaves you needy in the end. That more excited for the next book right? Well played Mr. Bella *winks* Loved it... Enjoy

I've really enjoyed reading this whole series and getting to know each of the characters and what seems to make them tick. I especially liked seeing the change in Noel who has to have been my favourite out of the main characters.I would love to read a spin off/short story about the embracing of Donavan from his and Michael's points of view and the ordeals that Theoden put the priest through. In fact I'd love more about the turning of all of Theoden's sons the small bit we got just wet the appetite for more.Nicholas Bella does a great job of making you love characters that aren't really that nice yet you somehow just want them to live and be happy. Can't wait for the next series.

The Master continues his reign. Nicholas Bella never disappoints. His approach to raw, hardcore scenes keeps his fans begging for more. The storyline and characters makes you fall in love with Vampires, Dragons and Werewolves. Beyond that, the sex is scorching HOT. I was never a paranormal fan until I found Nicholas Bella. Anyone who is not afraid to take a chance on excellent writing should start with New Haven #1(Chained in Darkness) and you won't stop until you get to Sacrifices #19. I will add this, if you are only into "Hearts and Flowers" you might not appreciate all these books have to offer.

A wonderful ending to this wonderful seriesThis was a bittersweet ending to this series. I'm very proud of Noel and Romeo and the strides they have made together. They will make a great team. Josef raised his sons well enough and are looking at the bigger picture for their fathers pack with Dante. The funeral for Ryu was perfect and I cried.I look forward to the Odin series and this Kindrick character. This may cause a few problems. Heehee The author did a amazing job wrapping up this series and preparing us for the new one
