I thought this was ultimately interesting and well-cited. There are a few things I wish would have happened, or have gone in more detail, but for such a short work you can't have everything. I wish more would have been discussed with gender roles and costumes, the expectations and realities, historical context, etc. But that's ok, that sounds like a whole volume of it's own. <3

I enjoyed this book immensely. Drawing on real life superheroes, movements, and comics, it discusses what makes the superhero' costume. Great read for anyone interested in the subject.
