Kim Parker Home Reviews
Brilliantly organic and wildly inspirational. So full of energy on so many levels I was a bit worried the book might leap out of my hands, it certainly caused huge bounces of joy in my mind. "Choose Happiness" is a very inspiring mantra or quote, but before you have not experienced Kim Parker's, you will have no clue to the meaning of the phrase. With such abundance of joy and talent in one person, an "Ode to Kim" would most certainly not be uncalled for. I am joyfully going on a hunt to find this fabric and have some in my life too!
loved the way that she wrote this. it was like you were walking through her home, while she was describing her life and her art. it was a gentle book with beautiful art works, page after page of amazing color.
This isn't really a decorating book as I thought it would be. Instead it is part-memoir, part-artist-overview. I'd never heard of Kim Parker before, but her story is inspiring to me and her paintings are beautiful. The book is beautifully done and was a pleasure to read.
Love her art! Interesting to read about how she came to be involved in the art, design, textile business.
