This one was great, but again too short- I feel like these books are not "novellas" or "novelettes" but actually all part of one story that the author is releasing as she writes them... There are some discontinuities because of it but overall the story of Snow is original and engaging so I can't stop reading it.

There are different ways to discover your true love - including kissing.

Book eight is written in the same perspective/style as book seven. The majority of the story is from Silindra's perspective with brief glimpses into what is happening to Snow during modern time. We get to learn a lot of history about how modern vampires came to be, how magic in the world has changed, and how the Vampire Queen took control. We also learn that Snow White really has a Destiny even though she tried to deny it a few books ago. The seal of Gabriel really was made for her, but also in a way made by her. This is why it was absorbed into her body putting her in the coma-like state she has been in for the last two years. A lot has changed in her world while she slept. Everyone she loved has tried to wake her with a kiss, but one possibly succeeds. The question is, was this a kiss from her one true love being a part of her destiny or just a coincidence?Read more reviews at

This installment of the Blood and Snow series had me a little confused but only at first. Snow is still in her physical body back at Professor Pops but she's sleeping. While those around her worry and try to wake her, she is transported to the mind of Silindra many many years before with the ability to communicate with her. Snow plays a part in creating the Seal of Gabriel but she also knows how the story ends and that along with some of the things she witnesses weighs heavy on her. A twist with Gabe also occurs which I wasn't expecting and it really makes me dislike him but it's all for the best. It did leave me with the biggest question though, who is Snow White's true love? I couldn't very well go to be with this question so I jumped into book 9! I love this whole series and really hope it ends well! The suspense is killing me!

As far as indie paranormal novelettes, I have not read anything better. I have read the entire series, they just seem to get better and better. While I do find occasional errors, the errors are minor and inconsequential to a wonderfully told story. I love RaShelle Workman's writing style, character development, and ability to pull me into a story so completely that I am genuinely shocked when the novelette is over. I wish the stories were longer but they are a perfect miniature dose of excellence.

Nooooooo! That did'nt just happen? I cant believe it!!!Gabe's head is seriously messed up and kinda feel bad for Cindy. To me Gabe has seriously turned cold? I mean how can he just change the way he feels about Snow, one minute he's in love with her and always has been to loving her like a sister? Just because of her change? Lots of questions in my head, mainly "Why?"... Going to have to re read this one to make sure I did'nt miss anything! One thing I do know for sure.. Its gonna be a long wait till the next book. I've been left wanting more, more and more!!

(Source: I own a copy of this book.)This was another okay short, which once again focused more on Silindra the Vampire Queen than Snow. Snow continued to sleep and travelled in the mind of Silindra as she continued to try and find the things she needed for her necklace. There was a little romance in this one, but more backstabbing to be honest! We were once again left with a cliff hanger though.Overal; an okay short story,6.5 out of 10.

Oh my, I loved this one even more than the last one! I just have no idea what's going to happen next and it's non-stop. Brilliant! Each 'book', or episode I guess you could say, is getting better and better. I haven't read a series obsessively like this since I was a late discoverer of Sookie Stackhouse and read 9 of those in a row. Of course these are much shorter :-)

I love this whole series. I do think that it's more along the deliver as the author writes instead of mini novels. it's very frustrating when you get real in to the story and boom it's over until the next 10 chapters come out.

I really enjoyed reading this volume. We are still going along with Silindra the vampire Queen and Snow on the mission to getting all the ingredients needed to complete the Seal of Gabriel. There were a couple of parts that bothered me. Snow had plenty of time to let Silindra know about what happens to her, when she finally asked about the truth she chooses not to say anything, but I get that all that did have to happen, hey maybe it could've happened differently. I thought it was heart breaking what did happen to Silindra. She thought it was real love but it was all a lie, I even hoped that that part wasn't true, that the story didn't actually happen the way it was said it was. That some how someone got it wrong or told it wrong, but we saw what happened. :( Talking about love, What The Hell Gabe. There he goes again. He said he will be there for her and what does he do, he starts dating her BFF. wow , and what sucks is that I'm sure Snow is going to be cool about it. It gets me mad. He also said " We both knew we loved each other like brother and sister, oh well I tried" WTF. Nooooo Snow liked Gabe, every time they started to date something happened, he moved on and then came back like "I never forgot about you" what an ass. He gave up on her. They never really got a real chance to date so how could he know what she felt. Girl deserves better. Any who... sorry about the rant there. Sometimes I just gee so into the characters that when I feel the MC is being betrayed or played with I get mad and defensive okay. .....okay calm down Lily calm down.Moving on :) I did enjoy this volume. I liked the ending, thought it was cute. It also sad that so much time went by. Snow grew up without realizing it. Ooh ooh and a boy shows up ****squeals*** okay I don't know what's going to happen, I don't know if it's good that the guy is there or what but I'm looking forward to finding out :)

3,5 stars ratingSo, there are some minor editing issues and the fact that "you're" was used instead of "your" in two different opportunities drove me a little mad. Buuuut... We get to know an important fact of why Snow's when in such a long slumber. Interesting overall, though I really didn't like that much Silindra. Besides, her trust in Gabriel made me want to bitch slap her!Complete review coming soon, on the edition of the whole series

I Love, love, love this collection of short stories! They felt more like a full novel when read consecutively. I can't wait to read more. How refreshing to have a fun, clean vampire adventure/romance! I shouldn't have been surprised to read that the author is from Utah. Just like The Twilight Series, there are women who know how know how to have good clean fun! :)

This part of the Story is also from the view of Silandra. in previous books we get small glimpses into the past, but in this book we get a very detailed look into the past. All while Snow sleeps left in her on thoughts, seeing everything Silandra does first hand, and taking part in a kissing spree all in hopes of bringing Snow out of her deep sleep.

Still asleep, Snow discovers Silindra's true fate and how it comes about. I'm extremely disappointed in Gabe with this one! And a certain other individual who shall not be named for spoilers sake. My own emotions were thrown into a twist while reading this installment! And the boys are kissing to the max. Snow finally wakes up at the end and the Seal now resides within her.

Well. I bit the bullet. #7 had almost ruined the series for me. I thought it had but my desire to know the rest overcame my disgust. This book, #8 was not as bad as #7 despite it having exactly the plot line I thought it would. Again super short. I'm very pleased this part of the episodic series is finally concluded and the story can continue. We will see what #8 holds.

I enjoyed this book. It seemed to move a little slower than the last couple books. But there was so much action in the last couple books it would have been hard to keep that pace going. Snow kind of kisses everyone in this book, which bothered me. She's very indecisive and keeps going back and forth between the guys. I kind of wish she would just pick one and go with it!

I like this series...I just wish each book was a little bit longer. I realize they are novellas but still...they always leave me with a cliff hanger and I really just want to know how it all plays out and what happens with Snow...please release others and quickly so I know what happens!!! :) Thanks

I cant stop reading this series. The idea is fresh and different, though each volume is very short. I agree with others who have said that it feels like one story that the author is releasing a piece at a time.

Snow is in Silindra's head as she is on her quest and lives through her end. When that is completes she wakes to Dorian and the guys ready to celebrate her birthday (2 years after she went into her coma)This series definitely slowed in the middle but the last 2 have been much more interesting.

Great addition to the continuing story of Snow. However, I wish it was longer and told more. I have to admit I hate waiting for the next novelette. I really wish it was a full book. In this part of the story we learn a lot more about the past concerning Silandra.

Picked up with the story where I left off some time ago. It is taking me a little while to get back in the flow. Warmed up to the story again by the end of the book.
