Not worth my time, effort, energy or money. This is *not* a fabulous, well-written story, despite what the other reviewers state. While the author does have a decent plot outline (which is why I purchased it), the writing is far less than stellar beyond the second chapter. Don't even get me started on the dialogue between the characters. (Again, I like the general idea of the story, but that's about it.) And, FYI, "pointed-toe cowboy boots" don't "complete the picture of a Montana cowboy to a T." Generally, this story comes across as a thinly disguised nine year-old girl's fantasy of living in a small town coupled with (pun intended) a thirtyish female's idea of a risque' sexual fantasy. Not so incidentally, a drive train doesn't snap in two pieces. ["The drive train snapped." "You're kidding." "Nope, I saw it in two pieces when I drove up."--- Sullivan, Sandy (2011-01-01). Love Me Once, Love Me Twice (Montana Cowboys) (p. 8). Secret Cravings Publishing. Kindle Edition.]A drive *shaft* might, but the drive train is made up of a number of parts. For the love of all that's ever been held holy, Google it if you don't understand something. Oh, and learn how to spell. It's "dozing" when you mean sleeping lightly, not "dosing."

What's better than a hot cowboy? How about two? Natalie Bennington returns to Red Rock for family reasons. Her grandfather has passed away and her parents want her to convince her feisty grandma to leave her home and move to Oregon. Not going to happen!Love Me Once, Love Me Twice hooked me from page one, when Nat talks to herself as she drives down the road. Immediate connection for me. I loved her right then and there. Then enters sexy cowboy number one, Cade. He rescues her from a ditch and heats up the winter night (and her girly parts.)Putting the moves on her right away.Natalie can't believe her luck, the high school hero she crushed on noticed her, squee! Kale, Cade's longtime BFF and partner in crime(and passion) joins in the fun, and the two men seem to fighting over her. Can dreams really come true?I really connected with the characters in Love Me Once, Love Me Twice. I adored Nat's grandma, You never knew what was going to come out of her mouth next, and whatever it was, it always made me laugh! Natalie was a carbon copy of her grandma, and I loved her straight talking, take no BS attitude. Cade and Kale were hilarious in their attempts to prove to each other and everyone else that they were okay with Natalie dating them both, while they struggled with new emotions of possessiveness and jealousy. They were also incredibly sweet! If you love cowboys, like I do, and are looking for a hot and hilarious read, Love Me Once, Love Me Twice is the book for you! An SSLY Recommended Read!

Very hot read. Sandy Sullivan does it again in this sizziling menage novel, allowing readers to fall in love twice with Cade and Kale, her two sexy cowboys. I give it a definate recommended read.Natalie Bennington goes back to her hometown of Red Rock, Montana to help aid her sick grandmother and attempt to convince her to move away to Oregon were she currently lives.Stuck in the middle of a snow storm, and just outside the towns limits she lands herself in a ditch. Stranded with the door jammed shut, she becomes trapped and is afraid that she'll freeze to death until Cade Weston comes to her rescue. Cade and Kale have been best friends since childhood. Like brothers, they've shared all of their life experiences, including their women. They were the gorgeous highschool jocks that never gave her a second glance in high school but now that she's back seem to be paying all sorts of attention to her.Natalie is confused and is reluctant to allow herself to feel anything for either of them too deeply. She's been burned in the past and is afraid to let it happen to her again. With helpful advice and a little nudge from her grandmother she finally decides to have a little fun. By dating both men she gets a taste of how to be loved the right way. Her sex life has never been better and she has great chemistry with both men but has to decide which one it is that she wants to keep.

I loved this book. It was quick read, light and funny. I love reading about Cowboys, and add the saucy grandmother and the up tight mother well it made me laugh. What can I say. I gave it 4 stars for that and also I would definitely read more of Sandy's books. I won this book and wasn't pressured into reviewing it but had to do so just to share it for the fun it was. Only thing I didn't like was the quick ending. The mom turns nice, less uptight, the two Cowboys are friends and work together to make every thing work out as it should but it ended way to quick for me. But that is just me. And not for this book. Light. Fun. Enjoyed. That about sums it up.

I happened to love this story line, I fell in love with Gram, you will too, who doesn't love a Gram who is royally fierce over her beloved family, and stubborn as a mule, with the biggest heart! I think if you actually take the time to read this book to the end you will enjoy the story, this is my first book I have read by you I believe so I am not sure if there is another book entangling these characters but I would love it if there were. I will find out....

There was a lot of telling me what happened instead of showing me. I ended up not feeling anything for any of the characters. Example: one of the H's asked the h if she thought she could fall in love with him. A few days later, she tells him that she only wants to be friends and he's okay with that. When did his feelings change? How did he go from wanting a relationship to only wanting to be friends? There were lots of little things like that. 2.5 stars

The story gets two stars for being an odd tale that I just could not believe. Usually unbelievability does not really matter but in this instance there were just too many instances where I could not accept decisions that were made by the characters.

spicy, spicy, spicy. It was a good book but a little spicier than I usually read. The story was great and it held my interest. I would have liked as much story as sex.

Beware this has hella spoilers. In fact, if you want the 2 minute run down of the book you can read this and not bother wasting your time or money on this. although I think it may be free so...So Natalie is heading home - to grandmothers house - and is intercepted by the high school hunk that never gave her the time of day. He's hot for her, she's hot for him, though she's insecure and stupid about it at first. Said hunk asks her out and then tells his best friend about it and how hot she is now. And what does this best friend, pillar of the community, man who's like a brother to him do? He shows up to her house to get a date with her too. Nice! Great friend this gem is. Throughout it all Nat - oh yes the men who supposedly didn't know her in high school called her by a nick name that they said they called her in high school. Confused? Wait, you'll be more confused soon. Anyways, Nat feels strongly about Cade ( hunk#1) but though she doesn't feel as much heat for Kale (hate that fucking name) she still wants to screw him. So she dates him, tries to seduce him and he turns her down because he supposedly doesn't sleep with women who he hasn't connected with or spent a couple of months dating. This left me scratching my head because he had previously confessed that he had no less than 10 casual sexual encounters with women he shared with Cade. Doesn't really add up...more confusion. In the meantime, she has sex with Cade a few times. It's kind of blah and vanilla as sex goes but whatever it blew her mind. She decided to date them both but Cade is crazy jealous of the thought of her sleeping with his best friend and then he gets pissed because she won't have sex with him while she makes up her mind and he does a stupid, jealous, immature man thing and she of course overreacts and throws a baby tantrum like the 13 year old... I mean 30 yo woman she is. While all of this is going on they are having awkward as heck discussions about relationships and sharing her when she's only gone on one date with each of them, each of these dates ends in "we need to talk" relationship BS. It's completely ridiculous to have these conversations at this point - she hadn't even gone on an actual date with the best friend yet. It was just weird and totally inorganic. There was no chemistry, no heat, no progression of the relationships or character development. Shit just happens. Then we progress to the point where Cade who has been pissed off and totally opposed to her dating them both because he "hates the idea" of her having sex with his best friend...his words not mine. Yet the second she says she wants a menage with them both he's all, "it's so hot to watch you kiss him and stroke his cock". Huh? More confusion. Then for the mother load of all confusing things. Nat discovers that her mother was in love with Cade's dad in high school but she dated another man to make him confess his love for her but it back fired when she ended up pregnant with Nat and had to marry the man she was using. So supposedly they broke up because of her pregnancy and because he was going away to college and that's why he was pushing her away. Yet, Cade and Natalie are the same age, in fact at some point I think it was mentioned that Cade was older than her. Which means his dad was cheating on her? or he knocked up his mom at the same time Nat's mom got knocked up? Who the hell knows? It's a clusterfuck. All this happens in a week. Which ends with Nat and Cade professing their love and him proposing. In a week! The morning after she screws him and his best friend. God this was so painfully awkward. Add in the terrible dialogue and the grammar and spelling mistakes and you have a book I wouldn't recommend to anyone that left supremely confused and unsatisfied. The only redeeming thing about this book is that grandma is a horny, loud mouth. Sorry for the long rant and the full disclosure. I'm not prone to the TMI on my reviews but I felt I had to lay out the jumble that was this book, if for no other reason than to remind myself about it about it so I am never tempted to read anything else by this author.

Well you know what they say, ‘you can go home again’, but you don’t always know what to expect when you get there. She was supposed to be convincing her grandmother to move to Oregon with her parents, but Natalie couldn’t help but be taken by the two strapping cowboys who’ve decided that she deserves some gentlemanly cowboy attention. She’s forgotten what it’s like to be treated like a lady, but Cade and Kale will make sure she never forgets again. Her suspicions and conflicted feelings are trying to get the best of her though as to what exactly do either of them see in her and more importantly what does she see with them.Cade took one look at Natalie and just knew that he had to reacquaint himself with this at one time high school band geek. When Kale steps in and tries to do the same, the feelings that Cade experiences aren’t what he’s used to with his long-time best friend. Jealousy and competition over a woman has finally risen it’s ugly head and Natalie wants no part of it, but she can’t just walk away either. What’s a girl to do when two cowboys are vying for her attention? This is my first read by Ms. Sullivan and it’s sure to not be my last. The first in a new series about Montana cowboys is all I need to know to continue with more of Ms. Sullivan’s fabulous work. There were times when the story felt a little unreal with the fast progression of the relationships, since I thought Natalie’s character would come across as more reluctant given the histories and regrets of all three. However, it is a sweet romance with plenty of spice. The dialogue with the grandmother is absolutely hilarious and there were several times I had to stop and laugh before diving back in. Since there is a ménage element to the story, readers will definitely be surprised on how it all turns out with Natalie, Cade, and Kale. I do really love how it ended and would love to revisit these memorable characters in future installments.Review also posted @ The Pagan & The Pen Book Reviews:http://thepaganandthepenbookreviews.b...

This is an official review from The Romance Reviews Oh my goodness what a hot as fire book!!! You may want to keep a fan and cool drink ready. Sandy Sullivan has written a sizzling hot menage. It was a very steamy book and one of the best I've read so far this year. As Natalie liked to say, “this is melt your panties hot”. The readers will fall in love Cade and Kale, the two sexy cowboys. When those two are around you could cut the sexual tension with a knife and I loved it. And the Grandmother is a real spit fire. She says what's on her mind regardless of who she's saying it too. The grandmother sure adds fun to the story. Natalie is on her way back to Red Rock Montana to help her Grandmother after her Grandfather passes away. She is in the middle of a blizzard and her car goes in the ditch. Her door is jammed shut and she can't get out. Cade finds her and is her knight in shining armor. He rescues her and takes her to the Grandmothers house. Kale shows up and sparks immediately start to fly. Both men know immediately that they want Natalie. Now they have to plan on how to get her without scaring her away. Natalie went to school with Cade and Kale who were and still are best friends who like to share everything, including their women. Natalie was told about this so now she has to decide how far she wants to take the relationship or if she even wants one. She realizes she has feelings for both men. I don't want to spoil anything by giving away what happens, but needless to say I would recommend this book to those who like a sweet Menage with a great ending. I know this is the first book of a new series by Sandy Sullivan. I absolutely can't wait to read the next installment. The pacing of the book was perfect. The entire story flowed from one scene to the next very smooth. I would highly recommend this book!!

Sandy Sullivan writes darn good stories, not the least of which are her cowboy tales. This first novel in the "Montana Cowboys" series, an elementary teacher, Natalie, returns to the town of her birth to take care of her grandmother following the recent death of her granddad. Almost immediately she us confronted with a man who was a fellow student with her in high school, a man who, along with his cronies, really never paid any attention to her. Yet he is not one hot cowboy and he certainly "sparks" off of her. Her first week home sees her dating not only Cade Weston but his best friend as well and contrary to their reactions to other women who they have shared, these two want exclusive attention from Natalie. This is a story about re-establishing one's roots and sense of "place" in the world, of a lonely and disillusioned woman having to see herself anew, partly because of her irrascible grandmother--one of the funniest characters I have encountered in recent memory--as well as seeing herself through the eyes of these two cowboy hunks. A very romantic read and one that will entertain vastly as well as satisfy that craving all romance lovers deal with for good romance fiction.

Montana Cowboys #1I got this book for free on amazon. Natalie is going back to Red Rock, Montana to help care for her grandmother. On her way into town, her car breaks and she skids into a ditch. She gets rescued by a sexy man. It's Cade, whom she had a crush on when she was 15. 15 years later, he is so much better looking. Cade thinks Natalie is sexy too. He asks her out right away.He mentions Natalie to his friend Kale. Kale wants to get a look at her. He stops by her grandmother's house. Kale asks Nat out too. Her grandmother is thrilled. She hopes Nat will marry one of these men and stay in Red Rock.Nat goes out with Cade and they have sex. It's great. Nat has fallen for him but she wants to get to know Kale. Then she learns that Kale and Cade have shared women in the past. This gets her going. Will she be with both of them or will her feelings for Cade stop her?I liked this story. Nat and Cade make a great couple. I love Grandma! She's a spitfire.

I love cowboys in every form or fashion. Love Me Once, Love Me Twice is no exception. Natalie is such a sweet girl to come back home to help her grandmother. Her Gram is a pistol. Some of the things that come outta that ladies mouth reminds me of what my grandma use to tell me. I connected w/Natalie & Gram. I would do everything for my grandma. She taught me a lot & I felt like Natalie needed & got the same from hers. Gram was by far my favorite character. I also love any man's name that is Cade. Kale added to the mixed of that had me needing cold showers. I love the story & how Sandy made the characters flow within the pages. I feel like I am part of the family when I read Sandy's books. I wanna live all the lives of her characters. LOL Unfortunately that isn't reality. It should be. LMAO Favorite line of the entire book: "Natalie, yes Gram. Make sure to pack you condoms in your purse."

Natalie was on her way back to her home town in Montana when she went off the road in a blizzard and was rescued by a man she knew in high school. He was gorgeous then and still is now. Then his best friend, Kale, shows up and both want her. She doesn't understand why since they didn't notice her at all in high school. My thoughts on this book are very different from other reviewers. So many loved it but I was discussed with the guys sharing women in bed. After reading the blurb, I expected a western romance but this book is far from that. It does have two men in the story that live in Montana and have horses and cattle and are therefore cowboys. But while there is sex in this book, I didn't see any romance. It did have a nice HEA ending but I couldn't believe the ending could actually happen with the stuff that went on earlier.

The story starts with Natalie returning home and immediately running into an old high school crush, Cade. The attraction is immediate between Cade and Natalie, the chemistry undeniable. Although things are progressing well between them, when Natalie sees Cade's best friend Kale, she questions whether its possible to feel attracted to both men. The rest of the story is a sensual dance between a woman who's blossomed into a beauty and awakens to the knowledge of who she is, a sense of self. Although she is attracted and intimate with both men, In the end Natalie chooses with her heart. Sandy Sullivan does a great job in the believable story of sensual awakening where the woman is in control of the three way hot relationship! Recommend this sexy read!

The idea for the story was intriguing but the execution was lacking. The story came off horribly cliche. The characters were shallow, I felt no real emotion. The idea of Kale didn't even make sense. The need to give him a chance was ridiculous. Kale's attitude towards sex, I make love and I have to get to know a girl first yada yada does not match up to the 10 or so threesomes he has been a part of. The cowboy dialog and actions were overdone. The last chapter conversation about his mother was completely out of the blue. The sex was good, but other than that the book was bad. Better luck next time, but I will not be continuing the series.

It is not very often that I will run out and purchase the next book in a series immediately after reading the first one. I did with this book. The book was well written and just enough information to keep you involved in the story but not so much that you became board and start skim reading.I could relate to the characters and really enjoyed Nat and her grandma. I was very impressed with the angst that Ms. Sullivan communicated with each of her characters.I am already several pages into the second book of the series and I am equally impressed. Needless to say, Ms. Sullivan has been added to my list of favorite authors. This is a very small list indeed. Kudos Ms. Sullivan!

I thought this book was good, but not great. A little too much "inner" yet outer dialogue. I didn't care for how Natalie seemed to play Cade and Kale against each other at times. I didn't feel there was a lot of character development and felt Natalie was a little one-dimensional. The book was fast paced and easy to read and who doesn't love a well written ménage scene? I thought Kale was a perfect gentleman and am curious about his HEA.

I'm usually more tolerant of typos, but I couldn't handle them with this book. Maybe the typos were worse than normal (what instead of what, hold instead of holed) or maybe the story was too weak to withstand the typos. As mentioned by others, the story is pretty weak and the ending pretty abrupt.

This one was a dud. I purchased it to fill the void while I waited for the release of other books. I quickly moved on to something else. One of my biggest pet peeves in a book is when the characters' dialogue seems more like a narration by the author. It is hard to connect with any of the characters when this is the case.

What can I say....I gave it 5 stars but it really deserved more. I laughed at Nat's Gram....such a lovely woman who I wish I could actually meet, if she were not a character in a book. She made the story come to live. Read the book because I ain't telling you about it....hahaBTW: Not intended for all viewers/readers......R rated!!!

I have read one other Series of Sandy's and I loved it so I knew I would most likely love this series as well. And sure enough I was right. But hey, who doesn't love cowboys right? lol. Cade and Kale are both so very sexy and the grandmother is a hoot! I highly recommend this book and series.
